Gerald Carter
Mr. Carter has been with Tuerk House since 2002. During this time, he has served as case manager for the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Treatment, and the Outpatient (OP) Treatment. Gerald has helped take the Peer Support Group to new heights and has facilitated focus groups for ICF clients. Currently Mr. Carter facilitates groups at Weisman-Kaplan Halfway House along with counseling bupenorphine clients. Prior to his arrival at Tuerk House, he helped young adults reform their lives and also served on the board for Recovery Council of Maryland. In addition, Mr. Carter has done a great deal of public speaking to promote the awareness of substance abuse.
