The Daily Record has selected Tuerk House staff members, Caroline Mwangi and Agatha Ukaegbu, as 2025 Health Care Heroes. These awards recognize the individuals and organizations that have made an impact on the quality of health care within the state.
Caroline, who joined Tuerk House in 2017, was recognized as Nurse of the Year. Agatha, who has worked in the Maryland Crisis Stabilization Center at Tuerk House since 2018 and the Tuerk House Integrated Behavioral Health Services and Urgent Care center since 2021, was recognized as Nurse Practitioner of the Year.
