Sobering Beds Open at Multnomah County’s Coordinated Care Pathway Center

On April 23, Dr. Ophelia Dapaah-Gyimah, DNP, MBA, RN, FNP-BC, Tuerk House’s Director of Medical Services, participated in a press conference in Portland, Oregon as Multnomah County announced the opening of 13 new sobering stations at the Coordinated Care Pathway Center (CCPC). Tuerk House has been working with Multnomah County since last year to manage operations and treatment at the CCPC, offering first deflection services, and now sobering services – both of which are now available to the community 24/7. Tuerk House is excited to offer these expanded services to support the people of Multnomah County who are struggling with substance use disorder on their recovery journeys.
