On October 28, 2018, Tuerk House was awarded a grant by CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to increase access to an intensive outpatient program that provides group therapy services, case management, medication-assisted treatment and referral support. The award ceremony took place at City Hall and included remarks by Rep. Elijah Cummings and Mayor Pugh.
